Getting started

Open Models and choose a clearly labeled Rill Demo contact to try Rill without a key or network. For real AI, open Settings → API Providers and save your address and key. Rill retrieves the directory; services without a directory allow manual exact model IDs. Service charges are separate.

Use Stop to cancel, Retry to try again, and Edit on an earlier prompt to create a branch. Chats search finds titles and messages, including archived chats and historical branches. If your service rejects the full applicable history, Rill does not silently shorten or retry it.

Authentication, balance, availability and capabilities are controlled by your service. A listed model may not be callable on your plan. Rill 1.0 does not offer cross-device sync, voice or executable HTML preview.
